MCC - Outlook Plugin does not load

PROBLEM

When an agent launches Outlook, the plugin is not loading.



CAUSE

For an unknown reason, Outlook may disable the Mitel 6150 Multimedia Plugin.



WORKAROUND

For Outlook 2003:

  1. In Outlook, select Help -> About Microsoft Outlook, then click on Disabled Items.                                      
  2.  Highlight Mitel 6150 Multimedia Plugin from that window.
  3. Click Enable.
  4. Restart Outlook 2003.
For Outlook 2007:

1. In Outlook, click on Tools => Trust Center.


2. In the Trust Center, go to Add-ins on the left.
3. Choose COM add-ins at the bottom and click Go.


4. In the list, find the Mitel 6150 Outlook Plugin and ensure that it is checked.  Click Ok.


5. Restart Outlook 2007.
