CCC - Enterprise / Media Server appears offline after upgrade

After an upgrade to 5.8, a logged in Supervisor on a client system is seeing the Enterprise Server and all media server offline.


In the Contact Center Client Network Monitor, you will see these messages;


It has been identified that the cached information could be problematic on some clients. In order to resolve this, please follow the steps below;

  1. Close Contact Center Client, if it's currently running.
  2. Launch the Registry Editor (Start > Run > regedit).
  3. Browse to "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\prairieFyre Software Inc\DSCache".
  4. There will be a key called "Directory" - This will point you to the directory where the client cache is.
  5. Browse to that directory and move the files to a backup location.
  6. Launch Contact Center Client and open the Network Monitor to see the right information.
