PROBLEM
Reports are stuck in a Pending status on the server.
SYMPTOMS
Reports are stuck in pending status. If multiple reports are run, you will see the excel process numerous times in Task Manager unless auditing is enabled. If auditing is enabled, it will eventually cause the report to display 'Failed'.
The Reporting.txt log shows absolutely nothing about the report being run, and the reporting service is started and funcitonal.
Attempting to export an Inspector report to excel also exhibits the same issue, where it will never complete the export.
Customer is using Excel 2007
CAUSE
VBA is disabled in Microsoft Office, which in turn limits excel functionality, including report generation.
