DESCRIPTION
This is an emailed alarm that indicates when the router certificate is getting close to the expiration date or has expired.
- A minor alarm is emailed when only 30 days remain before the certificate expires.
- A major alarm is emailed when only 7 days remain before the certificate expires.
- A critical alarm is emailed when only 1 day remains before the certificate expires.

If the certificate is allowed to expire, communication between router and client computers could fail.
TROUBLESHOOTING STEPS
1. On the router server open the Microsoft Management Console.
2. On the menu click File => Add/Remove Snap-in.
3. In the left hand list select Certificates and click Add.
4. Select Computer Account when asked for the snap in type.
5. Select Local Computer.
6. Click Ok to complete adding the snap in.
7. Expand Certificates (Local Computer).
8. Right click on Personal and select Request new Certificate...
9. Click Next.
10. Select Active Directory Enrollment Policy and click Next.
11. Check Computer and click Enroll.
12. Click finish to complete the install of the new certificate.
13. Delete the old cert.
14. Restart router.
