The Web Service configured Execute Activity was able to contact the configured Web Service but unable to find the current Web Method on that service.

IMPACT

The Execute activity will fail and the call will follow the Failure branch.

TROUBLESHOOTING STEPS

This often occurs when the targeted Web Service has been updated, causing it to present different Web Method signatures to callers. Re-configuring the Execute activity to support the new Web Service version will resolve this issue.

Before re-configuring, open the current configuration of the Execute activity in YourSite Explorer and make notes or take a screenshot of the existing Web Method, Input Parameters, and Output Mappings.

After making note of the current Web Service configuration, configure the Execute activity with a new Web Service that points to the updated information, using the notes from the previous configuration as a guide.

NOTE: The address of the new Web Service is often the same address as that of the outdated Web Service.
