CCMWeb giving error 500.19 on new install

PROBLEM

On a new install, the Contact Center Management website returns an error 500.19



SYMPTOMS

You are running Windows 2008, and IIS 7.

If you consult the IIS installation log (IIS7.LOG in the Windows folder), you will see an error like the following:

CAUSE

ASP.NET did not install properly in IIS. 



RESOLUTION

To resolve this issue:

1. Go to Start, and in the search box type inetmgr.  Select the inetmgr application.
2. Expand the local computer node, and double click ISAPI Filters.
3. Remove all the ASP.NET filters that are listed.
4. Go to the Control Panel and open Programs and Features.
5. Reinstall the ASP.NET feature of IIS by using the Turn Windows Features On or Off wizard.
