Article ID: 52098 - Last Review: February 4, 2014

The Ignite client application can trigger known memory leaks present in some versions of Internet Explorer.  When replying or junking emails, the memory footprint of Ignite will increase due to the existing memory leak in IE.

For more information, please see the following Microsoft article:  http://support.microsoft.com/kb/2889289

We have identified the specific versions to avoid this error below.

IE8:  If your client computers are running this version, the memory leak will be present. We recommend updating your Internet Explorer.
IE9:  Ensure that you have IE 9.0.21 (KB2879017) or newer to correct the memory leak.
IE10: We have added code to ensure that 10.0.7 and earlier is corrected.  10.0.8 (KB2862772) and newer corrects the issue within Internet Explorer.
