7.1 EMail server configuration - IBM Domino 9

CREATING A NEW EMAIL ADDRESS

1. Start Domino Administrator.
3. Click People & Groups tab.
4. click People => Register on the right.
5. click Certifier ID to choose your certifier file.
6. Fill in First Name, Last Name, Short Name, and Password.
7. Enable the feature Enable Roaming for this person.
8. Enable the Advanced option.
9. Click the Mail tab. Change Mail file name to match your user name.
10. Click the ID info tab. Choose In File, then click on Set ID File. Save the ID file to your local disk or Desktop.
11. Click the green "arrow" button.
12. Click the Register All button to create the new user.

CREATING AN ALIAS

1. Open the server address book.
2. Open the entry in the address book that you will be adding an alias to.
3. In the User Name section, add any alias email addresses you wish, each on it's own line.
4. Click Save & Close at the top.
