CFG0041 - Failed to send email

DESCRIPTION

This error occurs when the Router unsuccessfully attempts to send an alarm notification email. This error is most likely caused by incorrect SMTP settings. The SMTP Server may also have been temporarily unable to send emails.

Warning 



IMPACT

Administrators will not receive alarm notifications by email. 



TROUBLESHOOTING STEPS

  1. Go to YourSite Explorer.
  2. Under Enterprise, select SMTP servers.
  3. Verify that the SMTP server is assigned the correct Port, From Email Address, Username, and Password.
  4. In the Enterprise pane, select Enterprise => Email alarms.
  5. Verify that the SMTP Mail Server address is correct.
