Hotfix KB104996 - Active Directory sync throws object reference error

PROBLEM

Running an Active Directory synchronization causes an Object Reference error. 



SYMPTOMS

In the YSE logfile you will see an error like the following:

   at System.Windows.Forms.ToolStripProgressBar.set_Style(ProgressBarStyle value)
   at prairieFyre.CustomControls.ActiveDirectorySelector.RunWorker()
   at prairieFyre.CustomControls.ActiveDirectorySelector.OnEntryCountWorkerRunWorkerCompleted(Object aSender, RunWorkerCompletedEventArgs aArgs)
   at System.ComponentModel.BackgroundWorker.OnRunWorkerCompleted(RunWorkerCompletedEventArgs e)
   at System.ComponentModel.BackgroundWorker.AsyncOperationCompleted(Object arg)
--- End Exception Stack ---
 


RESOLUTION

This hotfix is to be installed on top of version 6.0.2

1. Download the attached KB104996.EXE file to the Enterprise Server.
2. Double-click the KB104996.EXE file and follow the on-screen instructions.

NOTE: Installing this hotfix will stop and restart prairieFyre services.  In order to avoid service interruption, we recommend you install the hotfix after hours or during a scheduled maintenance window.
